Noemi Chazan 
Prof. emerita Naomi Chazan wurde 1946 in Jerusalem geboren. Als Parlamentsmitglied für die Meretz-Partei diente sie von 1992 bis 2003 in der Knesset, als stv. Parlamentssprecherin und in verschiedenen parlamentarischen Kommissionen. Prof. Chazan ist Politologin und ist Spezialistin für Menschenrechte, Gleichheits- und Frauenfragen sowie für Aussenpolitik. 2008-2012 präsidierte sie den New Israel Fund.
