Join us for "Voices for Palestine" an engaging and enlightening panel discussion that brings together prominent figures dedicated to advocating for Palestinian rights and addressing humanitarian challenges. This event provides a platform for in-depth conversations with UNRWA on the humanitarian, legal, and political aspects of the Palestinian cause, highlighting pathways toward justice and peace. All net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to UNRWA.

Speakers:

Marta Lorenzo

Marta Lorenzo is the Director of the UNRWA Representative Office for Europe, where she plays a crucial role in managing aid for over 2 million Palestinian refugees. With a background in international humanitarian aid, Lorenzo is dedicated to ensuring access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and food security for refugees across the Middle East. Her advocacy focuses on mobilizing international support and navigating complex geopolitical landscapes to sustain vital humanitarian operations.

Lina Hadid

Lina Hadid is a distinguished human rights lawyer with a specialization in international law and Palestinian issues. Her career is marked by a relentless pursuit of justice for Palestinian rights, collaborating with global organizations to address human rights violations. Hadid’s legal expertise and commitment to international justice make her a pivotal voice in the ongoing efforts to secure human rights and legal protections for Palestinians.

Fabian Molina

Fabian Molina is a member of the Swiss National Council and a dedicated advocate for human rights and Palestinian solidarity. Known for his strong stance on international justice, Molina has been active in promoting policies that support Palestinian rights within the Swiss political landscape. His work emphasizes the importance of global solidarity and the role of international law in addressing the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Dorgham Abusalim

Dorgham Abusalim is a Palestinian-American writer and policy analyst with a focus on Middle Eastern politics. His insightful analyses and commentaries on Palestinian issues have been widely published, providing a nuanced understanding of the region's political dynamics. Abusalim’s work highlights the socio-political challenges faced by Palestinians and underscores the broader implications of international policies on their lives.

Moderator:  Bo Humayra Rahab

Humayra Rabab, is a Bangali Australian lawyer currently based in Switzerland. She is an experienced facilutator on humna rights discourse that bridge cultural and political divides. Her work largely centers around international security. Prior to moving to Switzerland, she worked to enhance the Tech security in Australia. She holds double bachelor's degrees in Law and International Relations abd a Master's dregree in International law.
